• Saarrh Kkashyap is an Indian actor and model, who is recognised for his work in Hindi TV series and films. He gained popularity for his role as Wardhan in the 2018 Bollywood film ‘Padmaavat.’

• Prior to commencing his career in the film and television industry, he was employed as a software engineer in an IT company.

• The actor has received training in theatre from the renowned theatre actress Nadira Babbar and spent nearly two years working in her Ekjute Theatre Group. He also received formal training in acting at Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares in Mumbai.

• After making his acting debut with the multilingual film ‘Ship of Theseus’ (2012), he appeared in the film ‘Saat Kadam’ (2016) in which he played the character of a news anchor.

The actor revealed in an interview that after the COVID-19 pandemic, he experienced many difficulties in finding work, as a result of which, he went into depression, but since he changed his name, his life has improved significantly. While talking about this in the interview, he said,
  

  I have changed my name to Saarrh Kkashyap. I believe in numerology and a popular numerologist suggested this name to me. I planned to give this a try and I’m blessed that it is actually helping me in many terms.” ^[1]The Times of India

• Saarrh Kkashyap’s maternal grandfather, Mr Loknath Bharali, was a writer and freedom fighter who was honoured with the National Award. His maternal grandmother, Mrs Nirala Bharali, shared the same passion for writing and also actively fought for freedom.

• He looks up to Jeff Cavaliere (AthleanX), an American fitness trainer, as his role model in the fitness industry.

• During the COVID-19 lockdown, the actor worked as a fitness trainer. In an interview, he talked about this and said that he did not have any acting projects at that time; therefore, he took the opportunity to establish online fitness classes as a means of earning his livelihood.

He recounted an unpleasant experience with a casting couch and revealed that during an audition, the producer discussed some specific skills for success in the industry and then made an inappropriate request, asking Saarrh to expose his genitals. The actor further added that following this incident, he started feeling fearful and apprehensive while meeting new people in the industry. While talking about this in the interview, he said,
  

  He was all alone at home and after usual greetings we started talking about work. And suddenly he told me some private affairs works more than the auditions. And asked me to show him how good I was with my private parts. Trust me I went blank and just told him Sir I’ll better concentrate on my audition and later politely I declined and just came out of his place. It was a huge shock for me.”
