• Sadhana Singh had no interest in joining the film industry in her childhood. She wanted to become a singer but her elder sister Surinder Kaur motivated her to work in the film industry.

• Once, the Indian film director Govind Moon watched her performing Kathak and offered her the lead role in the Hindi film Nadiya Ke Paar. At that time Sadhana Singh refused to work in this film but after her sister and parents insisted her, she agreed to work in the film.

• She was named Sadhana by her mother who picked the name from the Hindi film Love in Simla.

• At the age of 14, she performed at the Tuscany festival.

• While she was in school, she participated in various student elections.

• During her college days, she enjoyed playing basketball.
