• Sahdev Dirdo is an Indian social media star who rose to fame after his video singing ‘Bachpan Ka Pyaar’ went viral on the internet.

• He grew up in an economically weak family in a tribal area in Sukma.

• The popular Indian singer and rapper Badshah when came across the video, liked his singing very much and called him to Chandigarh.

• Soon, Badshah offered Sahdev to feature in his revamped version of ‘Bachpan Ka Pyaar’ (August 2021).

• The chief minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel also praised him for his achievement and gifted him a TV and a music system.

• In December 2021, Sahdev suffered a serious head injury after he skidded from a motorcycle. Apparently, he was on his way back to his village with his father when their bike slipped and Dirdo fell from the bike. At that time, Sahdev was not wearing a helmet and got every hurt on his head.  He was immediately moved to Sukma District Hospital where he received his preliminary treatment. Later, he was shifted to Jagdalpur Medical College hospital for further treatment. The news of his accident was shared by Badshah on one of his social media accounts. He wrote,
  

  In touch with Sahdev’s family and friends. He is unconscious, on his way to hospital. I’m there for him. Need your prayers.”

  After the incident, Sukma’s collector, Vineet Nandanwar went to meet him and assured his family to provide best medical treatment to Sahdev.
