• Sangeeth was very good at sports, especially cricket and hockey, during his school and college days. He was even the captain of his school’s cricket team.

• Sangeeth and Priyadarshan, a director and screenwriter, had a strong bond since childhood. Sangeeth was the first to take a photo of Priyadarshan’s daughter. They often used to watch plays at Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai.

• In 1976, he started making advertisements and documentaries with his father and helped him with direction.

• He later attended the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune and established ‘Sangeeth Sivan Productions.’

• His work as a director and writer in the Malayalam film ‘Vyooham’ (1990) was appreciated by the audience.
