• Sharan Sharma is an Indian film director famous for directing the Bollywood movie ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ in 2020. He was rumoured to be in a relationship with actress Akansha Ranjan Kapoor in 2023.

• After completing his graduation from the University of Southern California, he did some internships in the marketing departments of film companies in India and America.

• While doing internships in film marketing, Sharan released his interest in storytelling rather than marketing. Therefore, he later went on to establish a career in film direction.

• He entered the film industry as an assistant director of the film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ (2013).

• Later, he worked on the film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ (2016) and Lust Stories (2018) as a creative director.
