- Shelly Kishore is an Indian film and television actress. She is best known for her role as Shalini in the Malayalam soap opera Kumkumapoovu (2011–2014) on Asianet. She is also known for playing Padma in the Malayalam soap opera Thaniye (2006) on Amrita TV. She is popular for starring in the Tamil film Thanga Meenkal (2013) and the Malayalam film Minnal Murali (2021).
- Her family hails from Chirayinkeezhu, a town in the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala.
- She spent her childhood in Muscat, Oman, where she caught the acting bug by watching black-and-white Malayalam films.
- At school, Shelly actively participated in the arts and cultural festivals.
- At first, Shelly Kishore aspired to become a director, but she soon realized that entering the field of direction was not as simple as she had imagined. Consequently, she decided to pursue a career in acting, despite having limited experience in front of the camera and on stage.
