• She was born in Karachi. She received her early education from Karachi and later, shifted to Lahore.

• Sobia began her career as a model and then as a stage actress at Al-Hamra. She performed on multiple stage shows, theatres and later, joined television and films. Likewise, she went on to pursue her career as an artist. She gained much popularity in Pakistan after she performed in 70 Pashto films.
