• Surat Police’s ACP V.R. Malhotra in a statement said that Tania contacted cricketer Abhishek before committing suicide but there was no response from him. In the statement, he further said,

• She used to stay with her parents in Surat. According to her father, Tania was found hanging from the ceiling of her apartment. There was no suicide note found.
