- Tanvi, during her graduation, was a Columbia University Women’s Squash team member who participated in various inter-university sports events as a representative of the ‘Columbia University Lions.’
- During her first year of college, she became the first player to get All-America honours and led the Lions as their top player throughout the season. She also became the second player in her team’s history to receive All-Ivy honours.
- In her junior year of college, she stood out by defeating the top player at Yale University and the top player at Cornell University, making her one of the two Lions to achieve this accomplishment.
- In her junior year, she took part in the College Squash Association (CSA) Championship, guided the team as their captain, and was recognized as the team’s most valuable player.
- She was named most valuable player for the second consecutive year in her senior year after helping the team defeat Cornell University in the CSA Team Championships.
- She competed under the Olympic flag for independent Olympic athletes in the 2013 Asian Youth Games in Nanjing, China, as the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of India was suspended at that time.
