• While at college, Thiyagarajan Yuvaraj started playing Kabaddi for the SRM University Kabaddi Team and represented the team at various Kabaddi tournaments at inter-university, state, and national levels.

• In March 2021, Thiyagarajan Yuvaraj represented the Tamil Nadu Amateur Kabaddi Association team at the 47th Junior National Kabaddi Championship held in Telangana.

• In December 2022, he represented the SRM University Kabaddi team at the All India University Kabaddi match held at Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak, Haryana.

• Later, Thiyagarajan Yuvaraj got a job at the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai and became a player in the ICF Kabaddi team.

• In 2023, Thiyagarajan Yuvaraj represented the Integral Coach Factory Kabaddi Team at the All India Inter Railway Kabaddi (Men’s) Championship held in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh and later, the same year, he secured the Best Defender trophy at a Kabaddi tournament while competing for ICF in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu.
