- Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar belonged to the Bettada Kote family and was the only son of Swarup Anand Gopal Raj Urs and Princess Leela Tripurasundari Devi.
- After completing his schooling in Bangalore, Yaduveer Krishnaraja Datta Wadiyar moved to the United States to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in English literature and Economics.
- In February 2015, he moved back to India.
- In February 2015, Yaduveer was adopted by Pramoda Devi as an heir to take the position of head of the Wadiyar family and the King of Mysore after the death of Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar in 2013.
