- Yasser Ibrahim was born and raised in Mansoura, Egypt.
- He began his football journey with the youth academy of his hometown club, Mansoura SC at a very young age.
- In 2011, while he was still a teenager, he made his senior debut for Mansoura and gained experience in Egypt’s lower division. In the same year, he represented Egypt at the Under-19 level.
- In the 2013 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, he helped to win the cup for his country.
- In the same year, at the FIFA U-20 World Cup, he represented Egypt and played every match for his country in the tournament.
- In October 2013, Yasser Ibrahim signed for Zamalek SC, which is one of the Egypt’s biggest football clubs; however, he found it difficult to secure a regular place in the starting lineup.
