Controversies | Vishal Bhardwaj's film, Haider (2014), won 5 national awards, which he dedicated to all the Kashmiri Pundits. However, this did not go down well with Anupam Kher, who is himself a Kashmiri Pundit. In a series of tweets, Kher accused Bhardwaj of making a biased film. Kher further added that Bhardwaj has depicted the Indian Army as the villain in the movie and no viewpoint of the Kashmiri Pandits has been shown. |
