• Geeta Mali was born and brought up in Maharashtra.

• She drew her singing inspiration from the legendary Indian playback singers Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle.  

• On 11 December 2011, she started a YouTube channel on her name “Geeta Mali.”

• In 2015, she was honoured with the Swayamsiddha Award.

They were brought to the nearby Shahapur Rural Hospital where Geeta died during treatment.
