Seth Rollins started learning wrestling moves at the age of 14. He with some of his friends started indulging in backyard wrestling, using mainly a trampoline. It was during these years that Rollins decided to make a career in professional wrestling.

3 years later at the age of 17, Rollins wrestled his very first match for Scott County Wrestling (SCW) in 2003 under the ring name Gixx.

Rollins wrestled for TNA in 2006. After a brief stay at TNA, Rollins signed a deal with WWE developmental, Florida Championship Wrestling (Now NXT).

Seth Rollins is half Armenian and half German & Irish.

Seth Rollins is thankful to former WWE star Evan Bourne, as Bourne was the guy who helped chose Rollins the right platform, at a stage when Rollins had offers from other companies like TNA & ROH as well.
