• Gautam Hathiramani is a British businessman, who is known for being the husband of Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor.

• He works as a Managing Director at Dana Plast Limited, and as a Deputy Managing Director at Dana Group. He joined the group in 2006 as a director.

• Before becoming the director at Dana group, he did an internship at the Economics Department of Lehman Brothers, UK. He also practised the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals at various companies in India.

• In 2012, after the Dana Air J9 992 flight crashed into the Iju-Ishaga, and killed 157 people on board, Gautam ensured that counsellors and psychotherapists were provided to the family of people affected by the tragedy. In an interview, he talked about this and said,
  

  Our chairman and other senior management have been at the site to condole with the families of the victims. We would continue to visit and assist them where necessary to ensure that their needs are met until there very stable.”

  We have no hesitation to fly them again because we’ve always had them fully serviced and they’re certified they’re airworthy before they go up in the air.”
