- Vighnesh Pande is an Indian ventriloquist. In 2010, he began working as a ventriloquist. In 2017, he appeared as a contestant on StarPlus’ comedy show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.’
- In 2012, he performed as a ventriloquist on stage for the first time at the age of 15. By the time he turned 17, he had become one of the best stand-up comedians in Mumbai. [4]Deepak Pande
- In childhood, he used to go to various events and shows, where his father used to perform following which he developed an interest in becoming a ventriloquist and comedian.
- In 2022, he became the finalist for Sony TV’s comedy show ‘India’s Laughter Challenge.’ The finale of the show took place on 27 August 2022.
- Vignesh always performs with his puppet, Anna. In an interview, he revealed why he chose a female character as his partner during performances, he said,
When a lot of women-related issues were given light, that’s when Anna, the female character, was born. Initially, my organisers or clients hinted to not put her on stage but I was keen on having a female character who would speak about relevant issues and not shy away from them. I made videos with her online and before I knew she was famous. Ever since, the journey hasn’t been harsh. People love Anna and Vighnesh’s arguments and I owe a lot to her. I started it way back in college because it was the best time to take a chance. Back then, I hated show business. I have seen the highs and lows of an artiste through my father’s (magician and ventriloquist) journey. There is no stability; that was one thing I wanted. - He worked as comic relief at the 2018 dance TV show ‘Dance India Dance Lil’ Masters’ for two months. In 2018, he co-hosted Zee TV’s show ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz.’ In 2019, he was cast as comic relief for the TV show “Khatra Khatra Khatra” and later for the dance show ‘Nach Baliye.’
- In 2020, IndusInd Bank chose him as their brand ambassador. He was their brand ambassador for 9 months till July 2021.
- In January 2013, he started a company named WireBox Production. Under this production house, he wrote and directed a short film “Mumbai: The Golden Egg,” which achieved 3 inter-collegiate awards for best short film in 2013.
