- Deepak Boxer is an Indian boxer turned gangster, who has been charged with several murders, robberies, and extortion. Prior to his arrest in 2023, he was considered to be one of India’s most wanted fugitives.
- He started boxing training at the age of 12. Deepak’s coach Anil Malik talked about him in an interview and said that when Deepak was selected for the Junior boxing team of India, he expressed his desire of becoming a professional boxer. He further said,

Gogi was detained by the Panipat Police in 2016, but he managed to flee three months later when he was being taken to the court for a case hearing. Deepak was granted bail and released from jail in 2017, but he continued to engage in illegal activities. According to the police records, Deepak was in charge of the Gogi gang’s unlawful enterprises before he rose to the position of leader. Deepak also assisted Gogi’s assistant Kuldeep Maan alias Fazza to escape from police custody during a gunfight with Delhi Police on 25 March 2021 at GTB Hospital; Fajja lost his life during the police shooting. In order to aid Kuldeep Maan alias Fazza in evading capture by the police, Deepak tossed red chilli powder in their eyes.

After being on the run for several months, Deepak revealed in a Facebook post that he killed Gupta and also mentioned that it was an act of revenge and not extortion. Additionally, Deepak claimed that Tillu Tajpuria, a well-known rival of the Gogi gang and the gang’s financier, was involved in Gupta’s murder. The social media post added that Amit Gupta informed the Gogi gang’s boss, Kuldeep Maan alias Fazza, about the Special Cell’s interactions with him. The Gogi gang leader also said that anyone who joined Tillu’s gang would suffer the same repercussions.
