Controversies	• Fouling COVID-19 protocol [1]Dainik Bhaskar During her brother Ravi's wedding ceremony on 2 July 2021, Nisha Upadhyay failed to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols as more than 50 individuals were gathering in close proximity without maintaining social distancing, and some were even seen without masks. The event featured performances by several Bhojpuri singers. Subsequently, when the incident was reported to the police, an FIR (First Information Report) with the number 463/21 was lodged against Nisha Upadhyay and 102 other individuals under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) including 188/269/270/34, as well as under the Epidemic Diseases Act, 3rd section, and Bihar Control of the Amplification and Regulation of Sound Act, 1955. Tragically, Dhananjay Mahto succumbed to his injuries during the subsequent medical treatment. Subsequently, the police arrived at the scene and successfully calmed the situation.
