• In 1992, he decided to expand his business; however, two months later the 1992 Indian stock market scam happened, so his clients could not pay him, so he decided to get help from his friends and family members.

• He took debt from his friends in exchange for equity in his firm Angel Broking worth Rs. 1.5 crores. According to him, the 1992 Indian stock market scam severely impacted his company and it took around four years to recover from the losses.

• According to Dinesh, in 2003, after he stepped out of a meeting with an investment banker, he saw a luxury car and made an impulsive decision and bought it but he regretted his decision and decided not to make any impulsive decisions in the future.
