• His parents belong to the Gujarati ancestry who grew up in East Africa.

• They moved to America through Canada in the 1970s due to the brutal regime of Idi Amin in Uganda.

• In 2020, American newspaper The Wall Street Journal claimed that Kash Patel led a negotiation mission secretly in Syria for the release of psychotherapist Majd Kamalmaz and journalist Austin Tice.

• In November 2020, Secretary of Defense Mark Esper was fired after Kash Patel claimed that he had betrayed Donald Trump by not deploying military troops to end protests caused by the murder of George Floyd.

• During the investigation of the 6 January United States Capitol attack, he claimed that Donald Trump had authorised 10,000 to 20,000 troops to deploy days before the attack. The Colorado court later found him as not a reliable witness.

• In the book, he claimed that a controversial and unverified report titled ‘Steele dossier’ was used to investigate Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election in America.

• He signed 10 copies of the book ‘WWG1WGA’ (where we go one, we go all), the motto of QAnon, an American far-right political conspiracy theory and movement.

• He has served as a member of the board of directors in the Trump Media & Technology Group which owns the ‘Truth Social,’ a social media platform since April 2022.

• In October 2022, he was summoned by a federal jury to testify against Donald Trump and his act of taking presidential documents with him and not returning them after his term as President was over.

• In response, he invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination and was granted immunity from testifying on 4 November 2022.

• The book was praised by Donald Trump who called it a blueprint to end the reign of the Deep State.

• He produced the song, ‘And Justice For All,’ a rendition of the American national anthem which was released in March 2023.

• The song consists of Donald Trump reciting the pledge of allegiance to the American flag and the J6 Prison Choir, which is a group of about 20 people imprisoned for the attack on the Capitol on 6 January 2021, singing the national anthem of America.

• He appeared on Steve Bannon’s podcast titled ‘War Room’ on December 2023 and claimed that if Donald Trump gets elected as president in 2024, he will prosecute people who helped Joe Biden ‘rig the presidential elections’ of 2020.

• In 2024, he promoted COVID-19 anti-vaccine pills that claim to be effective in reversing the effects of the Covid-19 vaccine.
