• Rohit’s tryst with music began at a mere age of 5. He considers classical singing as his forte and has been taking lessons in Carnatic music since he was 10.

• Rohit maintains a calm disposition and a shy outlook owing to his problem of ‘stammering.’ During one of the Indian idol episodes, he revealed that he has a habit of stammering while speaking. Though the condition does not trouble him whatsoever while singing.
