• Lorna Hajdini was born and raised in New York, USA.

• She pursued a bachelor degree in Finance and Statistics from New York University Stern School of Business.

• Lorna began her professional career at the office of a medical director in New York.

• She later gained exposure in finance sector by doing internship at Glazer Capital Management and Tudor Investment Corporation.

• In 2011 after completing her bachelor degree, Lorna began her career in leveraged finance by joining JPMorgan Chase, as an analyst.

• Over the years, she gradually rose to multiple roles at JPMorgan. In 2018, she was promoted to Vice President post, where she handled major sectors like consumer, pharma, logistics, and aerospace finance.

• In 2021, Lorna was promoted to Executive Director in the leveraged finance division of JPMorgan.

• In April 2026, Lorna came into news, after a civil complaint was filed against her and JPMorgan Chase in the New York County Supreme Court by a complainant, Chirayu Rana, under the pseudonym John Doe.

• According to the law suit, the complainant joined JPMorgan in March 2024. After a month of joining the firm, a pattern of sexual harassment, sexual assault, racial harassment, and workplace intimidation began with him.

• The complainant claimed that Lorna linked his career growth to meeting her sexual demands. He added that she touched him without his consent, used racila slurs against him and even drugged him. Additionally, Lorna used her senior position to access his personal financial information.

• The complaint also includes JPMorgan Chase as a defendant and said bank did not take the action on the internal complaint, he filed in May 2025.

• However, a spokesperson for JPMorgan denied all the allegations and said,

Following an investigation, we don’t believe there’s any merit to these claims. While numerous employees cooperated with the investigation, the complainant refused to participate and has declined to provide facts that would be central to support his allegations.”

• As per the initial reporting, Hajdini denied the allegations. She issued a statement through her lawyers stating that,

Lorna categorically denies the allegations. She never engaged in any inappropriate conduct with this individual of any kind and has never even been to the location where the alleged sexual assault supposedly took place.”

• As of 1 May 2025, the complainant has been representing by attorney Daniel J. Kaiser, and according to him the complainant has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder.
