• Mukul Choudhary was born and raised in a small district town of Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan.

• It was his father, who wanted him to pursue to play cricket professionally and pursue a career in it.

• In an interview, Mukul revealed that his father earlier worked as teacher. He left his teaching job and started preparing for Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) exam; however, for Mukul cricket training he left his RAS preparation and started working in real estate business.

• Despite the financial issue, Mukul’s father enrolled him at the SBS Cricket Academy, Sikar

• In an interview, Mukul mentioned that along with real estate business, his father also owned a hotel at that time, to earn money and support Mukul in his cricket training.

• When Mukul joined SBS academy, he was getting training as medium fast bowler and wanted to become a bowler. However, during one match, when his team’s wicketkeeper was not available, he played as a wicket keeper. In the match, Mukul took the role perfectly that his coach asked him to do wicketkeeping along with batting.

• After selecting in the junior state team, Mukul moved to Jaipur to get training at the Aravali Cricket Academy.

• To ensure that he could focus only on cricket without being feeling homesick, Mukul’s mother and younger sister also moved with him to Jaipur.

• On 17 January 2023, Mukul made his first-class debut against Chhattisgarh at Jodhpur in the 2022-23 Ranji Trophy.
