- Arthur Fery was born in Sevres, Paris, France. His parents are French.
- His mother Olivia Fery (née Gravereaux) had played pro tennis before and competed in the main draw of the females double event at 1991 French Open.
- She went on to live in Hong Kong and play Fed Cup for Hong Kong. His father Loic Fery is a businessman and president of football club Lorient. He made his fortune with his hedge fund business, with an estimated wealth of 275 million pounds.
- When Arthur was only one month old, the family immigrated to England from France.
- He spent his childhood in Wimbledon, London, next door to the All England Club. He attended Donhead Prep, and then went on to King’s College School in the vicinity.
- During those years, his father was working as a hedge fund manager in London, his mother was a business development manager at the Lawn Tennis Association.
