  • Before entering politics, Suduvya worked as a contractor with Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) in Giridih and later worked with other organisations including Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) in Giridih, Jharkhand.
  • In 1989, Sudivya began his political career as a primary member of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM).
  • In 1992, Sudivya became active in the Jharkhand movement and worked with JMM founder, Shibu Soren during the movement.
  • In the same year, Kumar became the founding president of the Giridih Nagar JMM committee and helped in strengthening the party’s organisation in the city.
