• Umar Kremlev was born and raised in Serpukhov, Moscow Region, Russia.

• At a young age, he developed an interest in boxing and trained at the local sports palace in Serpukhov under coach, Alexei Galeev.

• However, he boxed until the age of 19, and did not pursue a professional boxing career. In an interview, Umar revealed that he did not become a professional boxer because if a lack of discipline in his boxing practice and fights.

• Under his birth name, Lutfulloev, Umar was convicted of extortion in 2004. In 2007, he was again convicted of assault.

• Kremlev graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Public Utilities and Construction.
