Alex Nation spent her early childhood on a farm in rural Victoria, Australia.

Alex’s mother and stepfather Dino wanted to pursue a career in food & hospitality. Therefore, they moved from their farm in Victoria when Alex was 10 and established Benito’s Restaurant in Mount Eliza, Australia. Dino passed away after battling with cancer in 2013.
