  • During the investigations, the police revealed that he reportedly took Rs. 1.35 crore from candidates for PSI posts.
  • The CID seized Rs. 41 lakh from Amrit Paul’s junior, Shambhulinga Swamy.
  • He, as ADGP of the recruitment department, reportedly allowed his junior Deputy Superintendent of Police Shanthakumar and his team to commit a scam in recruiting for 545 posts.
