• Since childhood, he was inclined towards singing. He started practising singing along with the harmonium during his school days. He used to practice every day at 3 am.

• He got the opportunity to do a stage show for the first time under the Bhojpuri folk singer Bharat Sharma Vyas.

• In the early days of singing, he used to sing songs for various shows of Akashvani Patna and Doordarshan.
