- Anand Mohan Pandey grew up in a middle-class family of farmers.
- Since childhood, he was inclined towards singing. He started practising singing along with the harmonium during his school days. He used to practice every day at 3 am.
- He got the opportunity to do a stage show for the first time under the Bhojpuri folk singer Bharat Sharma Vyas.
- In the early days of singing, he used to sing songs for various shows of Akashvani Patna and Doordarshan.
- He started his singing career with T-Series in 2000.
- In 2003, he sang the Bhojpuri song “Kaisan Ba Jamana Kaisan Sarkar Ba” targeting the Indian government on unemployment.
