• Anitha Lama who is popularly known as Anee Master is an Indian choreographer who participated in the Bigg Boss Telugu 5 reality show in September 2021.

• Her parents belonged to Darjeeling. Her father was an army officer who shifted to Hyderabad when Anee was an infant. Her father passed away when she was six years old. In her childhood, she learnt to dance at Ganesh Pandal in RMMS Society Ground, Hyderabad.

• Anitha Lama started participating in the local dance shows at the age of 13. She participated as a contestant of the Gemini TV’s program titled Dance Baby Dance and won the show.

• In a conversation with a media house, Anitha Lama said that she learnt to dance by watching Madhuri Dixit and Madhubala on television. She further stated that she did not get any formal training in dance. She stated,
  

  I don’t remember having any formal training and there were never so many dance teachers at that time. When I was 13, I went to Gemini TV’s Dance Baby Dance programme and I was the winner at the mega-final. Lawrence and Disco Shanti gave me the prize. I wanted to do stage shows and picked up all the moves by watching Madhuri Dixit and Madhubala on television and would practice five hours every day.”

• Anitha Lama then danced for several stage shows daily and worked in various schools as a dance teacher.

• At the age of 21, she received the chance to work as an assistant choreographer in the film Chiranjeevi. She then worked on the song ‘Dillaka Dillaka’ for Charan’s film.

• In 2014, Anitha Lama choreographed the songs of the Telugu movie Shankar dada MBBS.

• Anne is popularly known with the name Anne Master on her Instagram account. She has more than 198k followers on it. Anee Master remains active on her social media account and often posts her dancing videos on it. She has more than 672k followers on Facebook.

• Till 2015, Anee Master worked as an independent choreographer for more than 350 films. After that, she was designated as a senior choreographer of the Telugu industry. In an interview with a media reporter, Anee Master narrated her recognised works in the Telugu film industry. She said,
  

  First was, Jyothi Lakshmi directed by Puri Jagannadh and then a song each in Rogue and Loafer and completed 30 songs in these two years. The Sardar Gabbar Singh project was a memorable feat for Anitha; getting an appointment with Pawan Kalyan is not easy — big stars have a comfort level with certain choreographers and seldom meet assistants.”

• Anee Master participated in the television reality show Dhee Jodi in 2017 along with her partner Priyamani.

• Anee Master has appeared in several Telugu music albums and has also judged various south Indian dance reality shows such as Lil Kidz and Dhee Jodi.
