Some Lesser Known Facts About Anny Divya

Despite having studied in an English medium school, she had difficulty in grasping English and for that people used to mock her.

She belongs to a modest family background. Her parents faced financial issues and had to take a loan for her education.

Her father was an Indian Army personnel who took voluntary retirement after 19 years of service.

She completed her training at the age of 19 and got a job in Air India in 2006. Then she went to Spain to train on a Boeing 737 Jet aircraft for around 2 years. Later, she was trained in Boeing 777 in London.

In July 2017, she became the world’s youngest female to command a Boeing 777 aircraft, at the age of 30.

She operates as captain on international flights and has flown to more than 30 countries.
