- Anuj Rawat is a professional Indian cricketer who was born into a middle-class farmer family in a small village of Uttarakhand.
- His early childhood was spent in his native village. He used to go for cricket practice to a small cricket academy a few kms away from his home.
- Seeing his cricketing talent, Anuj’s coach advised his father to shift him to Delhi, where he can get professional cricket training.
- His father had dreamt of becoming a cricketer when he was in his childhood. He wanted to see his son fulfil the dreams which he had once seen, so he sent Anuj to Delhi to pursue a professional cricket career.
- In spite of their weak economic condition, Anuj’s family continued to fund for his cricket training.
