- Darshan Nalkande is an Indian cricketer who plays for the domestic team of Vidarbha (Eastern region of Maharashtra). The team participates in domestic matches of Ranji Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy. Darshan’s performance as an all-rounder during the Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy helped the team win the series. Darshan Nalkande took four wickets in the first innings.
- Darshan Nalkande was bought by Kings XI Punjab for Rs. 30 lakhs during the player auction in the year 2018 for the 2019 Indian Premier League. He was reinstated by KXIP for the 2020 Indian Premier League.
- Darshan made his debut for List A cricket in the 2018-19 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 2 October 2018. He made his debut in first-class cricket in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy for Vidarbha on 1 November 2018. His Twenty20 debut was marked by the 2018-19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 21 February 2019 where he took 16 wickets becoming the second-highest wicket-taker for the trophy.
- Darshan Nalkande does not have enough experience as he has played very few first-class and List A matches but his performance during Vijay Hazare Trophy and Ranji Trophy helped him get the recognition he needed to be a part of the KXIP team.
