• Devashree Sanghvi is an Indian food blogger and advocate. She is known for her food blog site ‘TheCrazyIndianFoodie.’

• She once said in an interview that she loved exploring new places and trying different kinds of food since she was a kid. She learned cooking food from her grandmother and that was when her journey with food began.

• When she was fifteen years old, she made a website and shared recipes which were made at her home. As time went on, more and more people asked her about good places to eat and different types of food in the city. So, she became a regular blogger and started writing helpful posts for her readers.

• At the age of 19, she started her career as a blogger talking about food and travel. Just two years later, she made social media pages for her blog called Thecrazyindianfoodie. After that, she worked with more than a thousand brands, restaurants, airlines, and hotels. Some of the brands she worked with include Nestle India, PepsiCo, Marico, Godrej, Britannia, and ITC. She even partnered with famous hotels like Radisson Blu UAE, Taj Group, Leela Group, and more. She has collaborated with various hotels like Resorts world cruises, Cordelia Cruises, and Costa Cruises. She also worked with airlines like British Airways, Malaysian Airlines, and Sri Lankan Airlines.

• In November 2012, she started her journey as a legal intern with advocate Shilpa Morje at the Bombay High Court. In this role, Devashree Sanghvi supported Shilpa in handling legal cases at the Bombay High Court and was involved in creating important legal documents like wills and affidavits. She took part in meetings with clients and conducted research on laws related to property and inheritance. After three months of interning with Shilpa, she moved on to work as a legal intern with the law firm Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt & Caroe in Mumbai. There, Devashree conducted legal research on specific aspects of significant laws such as the Code of Civil Procedure, Companies Act, Indian Contract Act, and Arbitration and Conciliation Act. She also visited various courts and tribunals, including the DRT, Electricity Tribunal, and Charity Commissioner, to observe legal proceedings. Her tasks involved assisting in the creation of legal documents, attending meetings with lawyers and clients, and even witnessing arbitration proceedings.

• From August 2013 to January 2014, she took on the role of a legal assistant paralegal at the law firm SK Legal and Associates in Mumbai. In this position, Devashree conducted research on Criminal and Civil laws, including laws like POCSO, IPC, Evidence Act, Negotiable Instruments Act, Transfer of Property Act, Arbitration Act, and The Indian Contract Act. She attended both civil and criminal proceedings in courts such as the Magistrate, City Civil Court, and Bombay High Court, in addition to participating in Arbitration proceedings. Her responsibilities included assisting in drafting legal documents like plaints, affidavits, written statements, replies to notices, recording letters, and writ petitions. She also provided briefings to legal counsels on various legal matters, attended client meetings, and prepared reports assessing the legality of properties.

• In 2014, Devashree spent three months as a legal intern at Tax Law Chambers in Mumbai. During her time there, she conducted research on certain parts of the Customs Act, Central Excise Laws, and FEMA. She also attended proceedings at CESTAT and the Bombay High Court, which dealt with matters related to indirect taxation. Devashree was involved in helping create legal opinions, summaries, appeals, petitions, and indexes.

• In 2014, she worked as a legal intern at IC Legal in Mumbai for another three months. In this role, she researched various laws like the Companies Act, Indian Contract Act, Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, Media Laws, Law of Torts, Intellectual Property Laws, and Arbitration and Conciliation Act. She assisted in drafting contracts for artists, defamation suits, notices, affidavits, replies, written statements, and writ petitions. She also helped brief legal counsels on different civil litigation matters. She attended meetings with clients and was even present at proceedings in the City Civil and Bombay High Court.

• In 2015, she interned at Talwar Thakore and Associates in Mumbai. Her main task there was to research International Corporate Laws, including the laws of various countries. She also looked into laws like FEMA, Motor Vehicles Act, Negotiable Instruments Act, RBI Notifications, different judgments, SEBI updates, and the Companies Act 2013. She even assisted in writing legal articles about Labour Laws. Her responsibilities included editing documents, writing replies to legal notices, and participating in conference calls.

• During the same year, she became an intern at Crawford Bayley & Co. Advocates & Solicitors. There, she researched and prepared legal opinions on specific aspects of the Companies Act, 2013 (such as Directors’ Liabilities, ESOP Regulations, Remuneration of KMP, etc.), as well as Labour laws, Competition law (Competition Act 2002 and Merger control regulations), Information Technology Act, Drugs and Cosmetics Act, and Banking laws.

• From February 2016 to March 2016, Devashree interned at the legal firm AZB & Partners in Mumbai. During her time there, she worked with the competition law team. After that, she joined Citibank India as a paralegal. Her role there lasted from June 2016 to October 2016, and she was involved with both retail banking and corporate banking sectors. At Citibank, she conducted legal research on various Corporate laws, FEMA, Banking laws, Succession laws, and Contract laws. She also reviewed different kinds of commercial contracts like loan agreements, as well as global contracts like commercial card agreements. She analysed laws related to debt recovery, data privacy, and the Arbitration Act, 1996, including recent amendments. Devashree also contributed to research on voice biometric authentication and worked on legal matters concerning consumer banking.

• In 2017, during a two-month stint as a legal intern at Khaitan & Co’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution team in Mumbai, Devashree took on various important responsibilities. These included doing in-depth legal research on significant laws such as the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the Code of Civil Procedure, the Indian Contract Act, Labour Laws, Banking Laws, the Companies Act 2013, and TOPA. Her contributions extended beyond research, as she actively assisted the team with various civil litigation matters and gained exposure to the arbitration process.

• Subsequently, from May 2017 to October 2017, Devashree served as an associate at IC Universal Legal, Advocates & Solicitors. In October 2017, she started working as an advocate at the Bombay High Court.
