- He is known as Mr Indian Hacker on YouTube, with over 33 million YouTube subscribers and 4 million followers on Instagram. He is famous for sharing science experiments and funny pranks and ranks among India’s top 10 most popular YouTubers.
- In his 10th standard, he scored 65.17 per cent. For 11th and 12th grade, he opted for Science and Maths. Unfortunately, he didn’t pass his 12th-grade exams initially, failing in both Mathematics and Chemistry. He gave the exams in the next year and passed with a 60 per cent score.
- Dilraj chose not to pursue a formal college or university education after completing his schooling as he disliked all of the courses and degrees. His only goal, according to him, was to start earning money on his own early on and to quit asking his parents for it. He began taking every job he could find, such as a daily wage labourer, carpenter, welder, and vegetable vendor.
- In 2012, Dilraj Singh Rawat started his YouTube channel under the name Mr Indian Hacker. In an interview, Dilraj revealed that at the time of setting up his YouTube channel, he had no clue about it and did not know that he could also upload videos on the application.
- Growing up, he was always curious and would disassemble all the appliances in his house or experiment with different substances in the school’s chemistry lab. He later began posting videos of science experiments, life hacks, and travel.
- In 2016, his first YouTube paycheck of Rs. 10,000 motivated him to pursue YouTube as a full-time career. Initially recognized for fun and travel-centric content, he expanded his content topics to include numerous subjects like science, technology, and do-it-yourself (DIY) projects. - In an interview, Dilraj discussed the two main events that motivated him to begin his scientific exploration: the first occurred in the chemistry lab at school when he purposefully mixed sodium and water and witnessed an explosion immediately in front of him; the second occurred later in the workplace when he injured his hand doing an experiment with liquid nitrogen, which made him realize that science experiments were not without risk.
- In 2018, Dilraj appeared in season 8 of India’s Got Talent as a participant. During the audition, he performed a science experiment using Hydrogen Peroxide and Sodium Iodide to create coloured foam. Impressed by his science skills, he was selected during the audition for season 8 of India’s Got Talent.
