Gaurav Mukesh follows Jainism, and according to this religion, he was supposed to marry at 22. But he had some other plans, so he asked his father to let him go to try his luck in acting.

He started his career as a Radio Jockey in Madhya Pradesh. After working as a Rj for a while, he moved to Mumbai, so that he could pursue his real motive, i.e., acting.

He struggled for over five years and did a few small roles. After struggling for 5-years, he went back to his hometown due to his father’s health issue.
