• Since childhood, he was inclined towards acting. While he was studying in school and college, he participated in various acting competitions.

• While he was in class 6, he participated in a singing competition for the first time in a school program on 15th August. Gradually, he started developing an interest in singing.

• He did his training in singing under the Bhojpuri singer and writer Guru Parasram Kesari.

• For the first time, he performed in public in the Vishwakarma Puja program held in his village.

• While he was studying in class 10, he sang for a show in Gorkhpur Akashwani. He worked there for around 5 years.

• He got married at the age of 16. He decided to make his career in singing after listening to the songs of the singer Mohammad Kalim.

• In 1997, he released the song “Humke Odhave Chadariya” composed by Kabir Das from T-Series Music company.

• During his graduation days, he participated in the Javelin Throw and finished in first position. He also participated in the 100-meter race competition.
