• A woman biker, Sia, was riding her Aprilia RS 457 with other bikers when a white Maruti Ciaz came close to her motorcycle. A camera mounted on her bike recorded the incident.

• The video showed the car moving close to the motorcycle before the bike was hit.

• Sia then fell onto the road and her motorcycle skidded several metres. She suffered injuries, which were reported as minor. The video then went viral on social media.

• The car was registered to a man named Manish, who was not driving it at the time of accident. Manish said that he was an Army personnel, and his friend Kalyan Bainsla had taken the car.

• After that, when police arrested Kalyan, he then admitted that a collision happened. However, he denied that he intentionally hit Sia.

• He said he had been travelling from Delhi with his sister and cousin when he came across a group of bikers on Golf Course Road.

• According to him, around 20 to 23 bikers were repeatedly overtaking his car and then slowing down in front of it.

• He said that he put his hand out of the car and asked one rider to slow down and ride carefully.

• Kalyan Bainsla also said that the biker suddenly turned while he was making the turn and that he could not control the car in time.

• He added that the woman biker was travelling at around 140-170 kmph. Bainsla said that he did not know that the rider was a woman. He also said that he felt sorry that she had been injured.

• On asking, why he did not stop the car after the collision, Bainsla said that he was afraid that the group of bikers would attack him and his family if he stopped.

• He said there were many people around him and that he feared a mob attack.

• He also said that the videos being shared online did not show the entire incident and that other footage should be examined before reaching a conclusion.

• Sia stated in the viral video that the car had followed her. She said that she had asked them to maintain a safe distance and but the car deliberately moved towards her motorcycle.

• After the video went viral, Gurugram Police took suo motu action and registered a case at Sector 56 Police Station.
