- Leo Grewal was born into a family of farmers in Punjab.
- Leo made his way into the Punjabi music industry after he made Yo Yo Honey Singh’s acquaintance around 2008-09. Leo approached Honey Singh via a phone number mentioned on his music cassette. In 2012, the duo sang the song Break Up Party under Mafia Mundeer Records, which turned out to be a crowd-puller song.
- Back then, Leo had no desire to become a singer full-time. Therefore, he hardly released any songs in the following years.
