• Mahant Raju Das is an Indian spiritual leader, who adheres to the teachings of Mahant Ram Das, who is one of the mahants belonging to the four factions of priests assigned with the responsibility of managing Ayodhya’s Hanuman Garhi temple in a rotational manner.

• When Das was four and a half years old, his parents abandoned him at the Hanumangarhi temple in Ayodhya.

• Growing up, he became associated with the Bajrang Dal.

• During his student years, he was affiliated with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
