- Radhika Sen completed her schooling in the science stream.
- In an interview, Radhika revealed that she wanted to become a scientist; therefore, she enrolled in IIT Bombay after graduating from Chandigarh.
- She left her post-graduation mid-way to join the Indian Army.
- While she was at IIT Bombay, she applied to join the army. She received a call letter for evaluation at the Services Selection Board (SSB) in Allahabad.
- She decided to go to the SSB so that she could explore Allahabad.
- In 2015, Radhika Sen joined the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai, where she underwent a military training module for 11 months.
- After becoming a lieutenant, Sen attended many military courses, including the Young Officers (YO) course in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh.
- In March 2023, she was selected by the Indian Army to represent the organisation at the United Nations (UN) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) under the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Congo (MONUSCO).
