Controversies | Removed From The Courtroom In July 2024, during the proceedings in the Supreme Court of India on NEET-UG 2024, there was a heated exchange of words between Mathews Nedumpara and Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud after which Chandrachud called the security to remove Nedumpara from the court room. Apparently, Nedumpara started arguing when the lead counsel for the petitioners Narender Hooda was speaking before the judges. The bench constituting D Y Chandrachud, Justices J B Pardiwala and Manoj Misra, told Nedumpara that he would be given time to argue after Hooda made his submissions. However, Nedumpara ignored them and kept speaking in the court which led to the argument. [1]India Today |
