- Megan Moroney belongs to a musically inclined family and was introduced to the country music genre and trained in piano from childhood.
- She participated in musical theatre, cheerleading and various talent shows in school.
- She had knee surgery after which she was confined to a wheelchair for two months after which she discontinued cheerleading activities.
- At age 16, she learned to play the guitar after a breakup and she used to post cover versions of songs with her father and brother on her social media accounts.
- She was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority (a national organization for the benefit of female students) in college. She won the Miss Sorority Row pageant in 2016.
