• She met Indian online content creator and singer Anirudh Sharma through social media. Initially, they became friends, and later, they started dating each other. At that time, Anirudh was in Canada, and Mrunal was in India. In an interview, Mrunal shared that for her, Anirudh left Canada and returned to India. She further shared how she met Anirudh. She said,
  

  When I came across Anirudh’s profile, I loved his feed – it was so aesthetic. I messaged him-or slid into his DMs if you will! He replied with a ‘Hi’ instantly and we began chatting. We’re both content creators, so when Anirudh suggested we do a TikTok Duet video, I was game. It was making a TikTok video together, from different continents, that made the two millennials realise how much they liked each other. So, very soon, their texting turned into virtual dates. That night, I told him I loved him…and he did too.”

• Mrunal started her YouTube channel on 14 December 2018 with the name ‘Gujju Unicorn.’ Initially, she uploaded videos on makeup tutorials, which gained immense popularity.
