- Nara Bhuvaneshwari was born into a wealthy family as her father, N. T. Rama Rao, was a popular Tollywood actor and politician.
- When her father decided to marry her to N. Chandrababu Naidu, Naidu asked her if she would be able to live in a village, she said yes after which Naidu agreed to the marriage proposal.
- In 1994, she became the vice-director and managing director of Heritage Foods Limited and many other business ventures.
- In 2013, she was ranked 45th in Fortune India’s 50 Most Powerful Women in Business list.
- She stayed away from politics for most of her life; however, she actively campaigned for her husband’s party TDP before the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections which was later won by TDP.
