They received this amount under a scheme of the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare for doing commercial farming in Rajasthan.

• In July 2026, he made headlines when he became the Secretary of the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education in New Delhi. He was appointed to work in the position till 31 October 2030.

• Naresh Pal Gangwar was appointed in the position in the time when students across the country were protesting and demanding major changes in the examination system.
