Controversies• Many religious groups often claimed that Ozzy Osbourne was a bad influence on young people, claiming his style of rock music promoted Satanism. However, Ozzy claimed that he was not a Satanist and was a member of the Church of England who prayed before concerts.

• In 1981, Osbourne bit the head off a dove during a meeting with CBS Records executives because he was drunk and confused. He was meant to release doves as a peace symbol but instead bit their heads off. He repeated this act with a second dove, which became a famous moment in his career.

• On 20 January 1982, Osbourne bit the head off a bat during a concert in Iowa. He thought that it was fake, but it was alive. He had to get rabies vaccinations afterward. The event became legendary and was later turned into a toy with a detachable head.

• In 1983, a teenager in Canada committed a murder after listening to Osbourne's song 'Bark at the Moon.' Reportedly, teenager was feeling strange while hearing it.

• In 1984, another teenager in California committed suicide while listening to Osbourne's song 'Suicide Solution,' which warned about the dangers of alcohol misuse. His parents sued Osbourne but lost because the court found no link between the song and the suicide.
