Some Lesser Known Facts About P. Vasu

• P. Vasu’s family is from Nedumbal village in the Thrissur district of Kerala.

• He was a good sportsman during his student days.

• His father, Peethambaram was a prominent make-up artist who worked with actors like M. G. Ramachandran, Sivaji Ganesan, and NTR. He wanted Vasu to have a steady government job but agreed when he realised how passionate Vasu was about working in the film industry.

• He dropped out of college to pursue his career in the film industry.

• He started his career as an assistant director with C. V. Sridhar in 1978.
