• While studying in school, she was introduced to the air pistol game for the first time.

• She did her initial schooling in Jhajjar, and later, she moved to Gurgaon.

• While she was studying in Jhajjar, she used to participate in various athletic competitions.

• In an interview, her father shared that in their village, people did not encourage girls to participate in sports. Later, he shifted to Gurgaon with his family, so Palak could focus more on the game without any negativity around her.

• She started her professional training in air pistol shooting in Gurgaon and later, continued her training at the Faridabad shooting range under her coach Rakesh Singh. Her training is supported by the Reliance Foundation.

• Palak has participated in various air pistol shooting competitions like the ISSF Rifle/Pistol World Shooting Championship, ISSF World Cup Championship, IJC ISSF Junior Cup Championship, Khelo India Youth Games, and Asian Games.

• In 2022, she suffered a shoulder injury at the National Shooting Championships in Bhopal.

• In 2023, she was ranked 114 in 10m Air Pistol Women by the International Shooting Sport Federation.
